Why become a Clinical Psychologist?

I did not always want to be a clinical psychologist, I actually didn’t know what one was when I was completing an undergraduate degree in psychology. In my third year, I learned a little about Clinical Psychology and I wanted to know more. We were taught that Clinical Psychologist are scientist practitioners. What does that translate to as a ‘real life’ psychologist? It means that we use interventions that work, which are ‘tried and tested’ to work on different clinical problems.
